How Would You Answer These Two Questions?
I dropped off the face of the Earth for a bit because that was happening.
Thankfully my babies are settling into this phase of their lives very well, which eases my heart. It’s almost time to wrap up August on the blog – Type A & When the Sh*t Hits the Fan (I never did come up with that more socially appropriate title).
You may be happy to know that I am no longer doing a bizarre arm jerk in my sleep – so apparently that was totally stress related. Who does that? I’m also sleeping in until my usual alarm clock, aka my kids, goes off at 6:45 – it’s been a solid week and a half since I saw a morning time that started with 4: or even 5:, thank goodness!
What was the magic? Well, I can tell you what it wasn’t. It wasn’t those squats. It sort of was that Chamomile tea with valerian root, but I had to cut myself off from that because it knocked me out so hard that I was either a) going to stop breathing or b) become a total addict. The stuff is ah-maz-ing. Actually, I think the only magic was a little bit of time, mixed with the support and love of some good friends and family, coupled with some of the things I was worried about (Kinder starting) actually happening and turning out okay, topped off with lots of talking things through conversations with my husband.
On the first day of school I actually sat down and read something because I had no one pestering me for a snack, or toilet paper, or a snack of toilet paper. Kidding. I give them real food. Anyway… here was my horoscope. I thought it was actually pretty profound for anyone going through some serious stress or life changes. I plan to think about the questions and maybe you might want to too?
